A man has appeared in court today charged in connection with the murder in Ballyfermot of Mr Thomas Farrell on Wednesday.
20-year-old Mr Darren Rogers, Elm Dale Park, Cherry Orchard was remanded in custody for a week.
Mr Farrell (43) was stabbed at his home in Cherry Orchard Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
A second man, in his late teens, who was arrested later yesterday afternoon, is still being questioned by gardaí.
