Gardaí believe a man whose body was found lying face down in the middle of a road in Co Leitrim this morning was the victim of a hit and run.
The young man was earlier named as 24-year-old Mr Alan Harvey, from Ballinamore. He was found on the main Swanlibar-to-Ballinamore Road at Dromore.
He had serious injuries to the head and body. The discovery was made at 2.50 a.m.
Gardaí are looking to speak to anybody who travelled on the road between midnight and 2.50 a.m.
