Amman - Jordan's King Hussein, who is undergoing treatment for cancer in the US, has named Mr Fayez Tarawneh as his new prime minister after accepting the resignation of Mr Abdel Salam Majali. Mr Majali's government has been under attack amid accusations of covering up poor economic growth figures and contamination of the water supply.
