Mr Breandan Delap (31), from Bun Beag in the Donegal Gaeltacht, has been appointed editor of the new Irish language weekly newspaper which is due to start publishing next month.
Mr Delap, a freelance journalist and primary schoolteacher, was a regular contributor to Comhar magazine and contributed feature articles in Irish and English to The Irish Times.
