Three flights have been diverted tonight from Cork Airport to Shannon because of fog.

An Aer Lingus flight from Amsterdam which came into land at Cork was diverted to Shannon airport because of low lying fog.

Earlier, a Ryanair flight from London Stansted was also diverted to Shannon, as was an Aer Lingus flight from Brussels.

A later Ryanair flight from Tenerife landed at Cork as conditions improved.
