Macau - East Timor's independence hero, Mr Xanana Gusmao, has accepted with reluctance May 20th next year as the independence day for the new nation.
"Having been decided by the Constituent Assembly, I accept it (May 20th), although I do not agree with it because, in my opinion, it is too biased in terms of party politics," Mr Gusmao said on Sunday.
