Gardaí are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in Cork city this morning.
The body was discovered in a house at Fairfield Road, Faranrea, in the north of the city at around 9.30 a.m.
It is understood the man was in his late thirties; gardaí have preserved the scene pending a technical examination.
The state pathologist's office has also been notified.
