Fijian Sevens wizard Waisele Serevi has been dropped for the Hong Kong Sevens at the end of the month.
Tomasi Cama, who took over as national coach in February, refused to go into the reasons for leaving out the player for the world's premier Sevens tournament which runs from March 30th to April 1st.Serevi had flown in from France to play in a weekend trial. He said: "You have to respect the decision. I did what I came to do and I thought I'd proved myself."
A Fiji Rugby Football Union official who declined to be identified warned the coach could be in trouble. "Serevi has to be included in the team even if the coach has to go," he said. AFP
