Luas works affect water supply in some Dublin areas

A number of water tankers will be available through the day

Luas cross-city works will cause water loss and reduced pressures in some areas of Dublin city on Sunday.

Dublin City Council said a major water connection was being made for the new Luas city line.

It said there would be reduced pressure and possible temporary loss of water supply until midnight on Sunday.

The areas likely to be affected are: Cabra, Phibsborough, Glasnevin, Drumcondra, Whitehall, Marino, Santry, Beaumont, Donnycarney and Artane.
