Dublin to get two new radio stations

The Independent Radio and Television Commission today granted two new special interest radio licences.

The Independent Radio and Television Commission today granted two new special interest radio licences.

Star FM was awarded the licence for Dublin special interest music and Solas AM was awarded the Dublin city and county religious service licence.

Star FM is expected to be on air by late September while Solas AM is scheduled to begin broadcasting in early 2002.
