Gardaí investigate attempted ATM robbery in Dublin

Criminal damage was caused to machine at Knocklyon Shopping Centre overnight

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating after the attempted robbery of an ATM in Knocklyon overnight.

The incident occurred shortly before 4am this morning at Knocklyon Shopping Centre.

No money was taken, but a Garda spokesman said they were treating the criminal damage as an attempted robbery.
