Female drunk driver arrested following damage to parked cars

A female driver has been arrested for speeding and drunk driving after damaging a number of parked cars in central Dublin.

The woman was arrested by gardaí at about 10am on Monday after causing material damage to four vehicles parked on Guild Street by the IFSC in Dublin 1.

The woman, who was driving a white Opel van, was arrested and taken to Store Street Garda station where she was fined €80 by gardaí for driving 93 km/h in a 50km/h zone.

The woman was also fined €200 for drunk driving and received three penalty points.
