London - The former Tory minister, Mr Alan Clark, yesterday disclosed that he had undergone surgery to have a brain tumour removed.

Mr Clark (71), MP for Kensington and Chelsea, said in a statement that the operation was carried out on Monday at King's College Hospital in London.
