DUBLIN - To mark the 49th anniversary of Burma's independence, Burma Action Ireland has called on the Tanaiste, Mr Spring, to "take up the challenge of ensuring that the people of Burma will be able to celebrate next year's 50th anniversary as a free, peaceful and democratic nation".
