London - Britain yesterday advised its citizens not to travel to Chile unless absolutely necessary because anti-British feelings were running high after the arrest of the former dictator, Gen Augusto Pinochet, in London. A Foreign Office spokesman said British citizens and commercial targets could become "targets for mob violence", although no such attacks had taken place so far.

Meanwhile, the High Court in London is expected to rule on the legality of the extradition this afternoon.
