I love all the wines listed below with barbecued food, even if it's only boy scout burnt sausages but if you want to strike for the middle ground rich, round flavours, plenty of substance and the savoury element kept subtle choose Las Campanas Navarra Cabernet Sauvignon 1990 (Dunnes Stores, £5.49).
