Ban on western instruments to go

Tehran - Iran has lifted a ban on the import of western musical instruments, which it has long seen as decadent and corrupt, the newspaper Iran said yesterday. It reported that a state organisation affiliated to the Culture Ministry had approved the import of instruments which have been banned for two decades.
