Robert Kane (32), of The Coppice, Palmerstown, pleaded guilty to having 247.7 grams of heroin with intent to supply on May 1st last year.

Sgt Ashley O'Sullivan said he met the defendant coming off the Liverpool ferry at North Wall. Later in Kilmainham Garda station Kane took a large package of the drugs from his underpants and admitted having cocaine worth £100 for his own use.
