Ambulance stolen while on call-out
An ambulance was stolen while medics were on an emergency call in Dublin on Wednesday night.
The ambulance was stolen after it was called out to Corduff Grove, Blanchardstown, at about 7pm. It was later found in a nearby park.
A second ambulance was called to deal with the emergency call after the first was stolen.
There was nothing stolen from the ambulance and there was no damage caused to the vehicle itself. There was no report to the Garda.
According to a spokeswoman for Dublin Fire Brigade, the ambulance was missing for a few minutes before it was recovered.
Fingal councillor Kieran Dennison said the incident set a worrying precedent.
