Aer Lingus to open new routes from Cork

Aer Lingus is to operate three new routes out of Cork to Europe beginning in March next year.

Aer Lingus is to operate three new routes out of Cork to Europe beginning in March next year.

Chief executive Mr Willie Walsh told a meeting of staff in Cork today that the airline would run two flights a week into Barcelona, Alicante and Milan.

Flights to Barcelona will fly out on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while flights to Alicante will operate on Mondays and Fridays, and flights to Milan will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays.
