McDonald’s outside of Cork city guiding €2.5m

Cork agent Cohalan Downing is guiding €2.5 million for an attractive investment opportunity in a McDonald's drive-thru restaurant, which has a high profile at New Mallow Road in Blackpool, Cork.

The property is to be sold by tender on September 28th.

The newly refurbished building extends to 305sq m (3,283sq ft) and is let to McDonald’s on a 35-year, full repairing and insuring lease from 2000.

There are 17.5 years to run on the lease, which currently attracts a rent of €165,000 per annum.

The restaurant has dual frontage on to New Mallow Road (the N20) and Fitz’s Boreen. The N20 is the main approach route to Cork city from the northern side.

Other retailers in the area include Blackpool shopping centre and retail park, Topaz filling station and Noel Deasy car sales.
