A second storm was brewing at the K Club this afternoon after an outraged Tiger Woods spoke out about faked photographs of his wife.

The doctored pornographic pictures of his wife Elin, a former model, were printed in a Dublin magazine prompting Woods to use his press conference today to speak out on the matter.

"It's unacceptable and I don't want it to detract from this event," the American world number one told reporters. "It's hard to be diplomatic about this. I thought it was the right thing to do to speak about it because I don't want this to detract from this event.

"I am very disappointed about this. Yes, my wife has been a model but to link her with a pornographic website is unacceptable. Sometimes they don't let the facts get in the way of a good story. This is a clear indication of that."

Woods said the fans and the people of Ireland had been fantastic, but he was very disappointed with the way the article was written. His wife had once been a model and did some bikini photos.

Woods's wife is staying with him and all the other American wives and partners at the course where practice was held up for several hours today because of fierce winds and heavy rain.

"I just want to say that that doesn't deter or detract from the beauty of the event," Woods added. "The people have been absolutely fantastic. Irish people have come out and supported us.

"I've come here numerous years to fish and hang out and play golf and tour all of Ireland and people here have been absolutely fantastic."
