Wilson's Hospital overwhelmed Marian College in the Junior Cup semi-final at Barnhall RFC yesterday

Wilson's Hospital overwhelmed Marian College in the Junior Cup semi-final at Barnhall RFC yesterday. Wilson's ran in four tries, with three converted, while Marian failed to score.

Wilson's first try came after 10 minutes when, following a slick back-line move from the Marian 22, centre John Paradise sent fellow centre Aruna Kanu clear on the right-hand side, full back Claudio Nardone adding the conversion.

Two minutes later, Wilson's grabbed their second try when, from a ruck in the middle of the pitch, the ball was worked out to the Marian 22, where captain and open-side flanker Ian Condell scored.

Nardone again converted and then added a penalty on 25 minutes, leaving it 17-0 at half-time. Twenty minutes after the break, outhalf Gordon Peavoy scored the first of two tries when he received the ball from a scrum on his own 22 and sprinted the length of the pitch. Nardone missed the conversion.
