Wigan v WBA

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez will check the fitness of striker Hugo Rodallega and midfielder Albert Crusat. Rodallega picked up a knock to his knee in the draw at Norwich while Crusat injured a toe in training. Goalkeeper Michael Pollitt (shoulder) and midfielder David Jones (knee) are still sidelined.

Craig Dawson and Gabriel Tamas are vying to replace suspended West Brom defender Jonas Olsson. Peter Odemwingie (calf) has only an outside chance of being fit, with Shane Long, Somen Tchoyi and Simon Cox in contention to replace the striker.

Tottenham v Bolton

Spurs striker Emmanuel Adebayor is a doubt due to a hamstring injury. Winger Aaron Lennon remains sidelined with a hamstring problem while Ledley King (knee) faces a late fitness test. William Gallas could make his first appearance since January after recovering from calf trouble.

Midfielder Chris Eagles is a doubt for Bolton after suffering a hamstring injury following his substitute appearance in the win over QPR. England under-21 striker Marvin Sordell is cup-tied, but defender Marcos Alonso is in contention for his first game in three months after coming through two reserves games.

Newcastle v Norwich

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew will check the fitness of Cheick Tiote and Danny Simpson. Midfielder Tiote picked up a hamstring problem in Monday’s defeat at Arsenal, while full back Simpson suffered an adductor strain in the same game.

Norwich expect to have midfielder Jonny Howson available again after illness but defenders Daniel Ayala (hamstring) and Marc Tierney (groin) and striker James Vaughan (hamstring) are still recovering full match fitness.

Liverpool v Stoke

Forward Craig Bellamy could return to the Liverpool squad having missed the midweek Merseyside derby victory. Defender Glen Johnson is still not fit having sat out the last three games while centre-back Daniel Agger is still sidelined with a cracked rib.

Stoke will be without striker Ricardo Fuller, who starts a three-match ban.

Boss boss Tony Pulis has already confirmed Thomas Sorensen will get his chance in goal after losing the number one spot to Asmir Begovic last month while Peter Crouch, rested at Stamford Bridge, will also come in.

Wolves v Manchester U

Wolves caretaker manager Terry Connor has no fresh injury problems. Midfielder Karl Henry hopes to return from his hamstring injury for next week’s match at Norwich.

United hope Wayne Rooney shrugs off the knock suffered during the Europa League loss to Athletic Bilbao. The striker stayed down following a challenge by Jon Aurtenetxe, although he was able to complete the game and score. Paul Scholes is set to return in midfield and Phil Jones hopes to have recovered from flu.

Everton v Sunderland

Everton playmaker Steven Pienaar is cup-tied and central midfielder Darron Gibson is also unlikely to return to action from a knee injury. Boss David Moyes is expected to rotate his squad after making six changes for the midweek defeat at Liverpool.

Nicklas Bendtner has made a rapid recovery from a knee problem and is expected to be fit for Sunderland. However, Kieran Richardson is losing his battle to recover from a calf problem in time and Wayne Bridge could continue. Lee Cattermole and Stephane Sessegnon are suspended.

Chelsea v Leicester

Chelsea caretaker manager Roberto Di Matteo is confident John Terry and David Luiz will be fit after both suffered knocks in the 120 minutes against Napoli. Raul Meireles is available after suspension.

Paul Konchesky is available for Leicester after suspension, while fellow defender Matt Mills, midfielder Ben Marshall and strikers Steve Howard and Jeff Schlupp are also pushing for recalls. Midfielder Danny Drinkwater, back-up goalkeeper Conrad Logan and teenage defender Liam Moore are all cup-tied.
