BASKETBALL:This weekend, the battle continues in the Nivea For Men's SuperLeague, as teams look to secure a top-four position to contend for the Champions Trophy later in March. Meanwhile, for the top-of-the-table teams, the chase for the league title hots up.

UL Eagles are currently perched at the top of the table and in order to retain their title challenge they must win their remaining games. They take on UCD Marian tomorrow, a rematch of the National Cup semi-finals. Although the Limerick lads saw them off in their last encounter, a revived Marian will enter the game with confidence as they come off three wins on the bounce.

Hot on the Eagles heels are rivals UCC Demons. In order for the Cork side to keep their title dreams alive they also need to win the rest of their games and hope the Eagles slip up.

They take on the young boys from Moycullen who have justified their place in the big league this year.
