CAMOGIE: KILDARE'S Susie O'Carroll was the UCD hero as they now set their sights on a third Ashbourne title in a row following their 5-8 to 0-8 quarter-final victory over NUIG in Dangan on Saturday. They play CIT in two weeks.

Courtesy of their 5-7 to 0-2 win against UUJ, Ashbourne hosts UCC set a date with WIT who were pushed by UL, but pulled away in the end to win 2-10 to 0-7.

Elsewhere, the outstanding Katrina Mackey’s injury-time point earned Christ the King, Cork, a deserved 1-6 to 0-9 draw in a thrilling All-Ireland senior college’s semi-final with champions St Brigid’s, Callan, in Piltown.

Portumna CS await the winners following their 1-8 to 1-2 win over St Mary’s Magherafelt.
