UCD hold stronger credentials

UCD and Dublin University meet in the 49th annual Colours match at Donnybrook tonight (6.30) with the Belfield side hoping to complete five successive victories in the competition.

UCD, indeed, will start as favourites, by virtue of their excellent AIL Division Two form - they are third - while Trinity are unbeaten in Division Three.

Both sides possess plenty of ability behind the scrum while up front it should be equally well contested, notably in the battle of the open-sides, Richard Woods and Neil Coughlan. Trinity are the hosts this year and have distributed several thousand tickets to schools and sponsors to try and guarantee an atmosphere in which the myriad of under-age internationals will flourish.
