Larry Watson birdied the four par threes at Clandeboye recently to win Ken Graham's president's prize for the Irish Secretary/Managers Association. Watson, secretary/manager at Craddockstown and a member of Clontarf golf club, went on to shoot 38 points to pip Portmarnock's John Quigley on countback, with Tom Prendegast from Killarney next on 34. Jacqueline Quigley won the women's section with a best of the day 40 points - four better than second-placed Helen Prendergast. The association's final outing of the year will be to Baltray in December.
