The BBC will show only two live games during the coming season, apart from the Euro 2000 finals. They will screen the European Super Cup between Manchester United and Lazio at the end of the month and the UEFA Cup final in May before sharing the Euro 2000 finals with ITV.
Sky Sports, in comparison, will this season show 250 live matches.
SKY SPORTS: FA Premiership, FA Cup, League Cup, English League (including the three play-off finals), Scottish Premier League, Scottish Cup, Spanish League, England and Scotland's home internationals, Under-21 internationals, B internationals, women's matches and schoolboy internationals.
Sky TV will also be showing Tottenham, Newcastle, Leeds and West Ham - if they qualify - in the UEFA Cup.
ITV: Champions League (shared with OnDigital), FA Cup (shared with Sky), League Cup (shared with Sky), Euro 2000 finals (shared with the BBC).
BBC: Euro 2000 finals (shared with ITV), European Super Cup and the UEFA Cup final.
EUROSPORT: Euro 2000 finals, African Nations Cup, 2002 World Cup qualifiers, UEFA Cup, Toulon Under-21 tournament and Under-16 and Under-18 European Championships.
CHANNEL 5: Poland v England on September 8th and UEFA Cup (games to be confirmed).
CHANNEL 4: Channel 4 is currently renegotiating the rights to Serie A for the new season.
