The new Townsend Cup champions will be crowned at Newlands on November 5th. Last year's winner, Dun Laoghaire, fell at the first hurdle in this year's competition leaving Malahide, Stackstown, Hermitage and Black Bush to contest the semi-finals. Hermitage will be at home to Black Bush while Malahide will have home advantage when they face Stackstown.

Black Bush are in line for a treble. Their second team are through to the last eight where they will face Clontarf and the fourth team will meet Co Louth, also in the quarter-finals as they battle for a place in the Clarins finals at the Island on November 9th.
