Leinster JFC Final: Meath may have been late arriving, but they still managed to outclass Wexford in the Leinster junior football championship final at Wexford Park yesterday.

With Meath's Ian McManus dominant around the centre of the field and right corner forward Alan Fox kicking some excellent points, the Royal County went on to lead 0-6 to 0-4 at the half-time interval. But it was substitute Brian Farrell who inspired the Meath men during the second 30 minutes with an excellent goal and two points as they completely outclassed a disappointing Wexford outfit.
