Team check: Ormonde and O'Leary return for Tipperary

Paul Ormonde and Mark O'Leary, two members of last year's All-Ireland winning team, return to the Tipperary line-up for tomorrow's third-round hurling qualifier against Offaly.

Ormonde, who is named at left corner back, missed the early rounds of the championship after picking up a shoulder injury while playing football in early May. O'Leary was also suffering with a knee injury in the early rounds of the Munster championship, although he came on as a substitute as an indirect swap for Thomas Costello in the Munster final against Waterford.

Donnacha Fahey is the man to miss out at corner back, while O'Leary, who is named at left corner forward, comes in for Lar Corbett, who picked up a minor shoulder injury in the under-21 win over Waterford on Wednesday night.

It means that 11 of the team who won the All-Ireland will start, with midfielder Eddie Enright and the whole full forward line of Eugene O'Neill, Declan Ryan and Corbett missing. It was also reported last night that John O'Brien will miss the game after breaking a thumb.

Offaly SH

Offaly make just one change in personnel from the team that beat Meath in the first-round qualifier. Hubert Rigney is out and is replaced by Kevin Martin.

Rigney partnered Rory Hanniffy at midfield the last day, but for Sunday Barry Whelahan moves back from centre forward to the midfield position and Martin comes in at centre forward. Otherwise the team is unaltered, with Johnny Dooley once again ruled out with injury.

Mayo SF

Manager Pat Holmes has rearranged his team for tomorrow's All-Ireland third-round qualifier against Limerick at Hyde Park. David Heaney replaces Tom Nallen at full back, a change that took place at half-time in the second-round win over Roscommon.

Mayo have left a vacancy at midfield in the hope that either the injured David Brady or Shane Trench can start - they will undergo fitness tests tomorrow morning. Trench started in the position against Roscommon, although he was also replaced at half-time, by Brady.

Up front there are several positional switches, with only full forward Brian Maloney starting in the position he occupied against Roscommon. James Horan and Conor Mortimer exchange corner forward positions, and the three half forwards have also switched around with Michael Moyles starting at centre forward, James Gill on the right wing, and Trevor Mortimer on the left.

Wexford SH

Liam Dunne has been handed an eight-week suspension arising out if his sending-off against Kilkenny in last Sunday's Leinster hurling final. Having been reported for dangerous play by referee Ger Harrington, Dunne received an automatic four-week suspension, but that was doubled because he was sent off for a similar offence within the last 12 months (last summer's All-Ireland semi-final against Tipperary, following a tussle with Brian O'Meara).

Manager Tony Dempsey will thus wait until tomorrow before naming his team to face Clare in Sunday's All-Ireland qualifier in Portlaoise.

Centre forward Adrian Fenlon remains a serious concern with a hamstring injury while goalkeeper Damien Fitzhenry (back injury) and defenders Declan Ruth and Rory Mallon (both leg) are also injury concerns.
