The main concern for manager Tommy Carr ahead of Sunday's meeting with Wexford is goalkeeper Davy Byrne, who has been unable to train in recent weeks due to a groin injury. He is, however, expected to take his place in the team, which is due to be announced this evening. In addition, there are some niggling injuries of concern, including midfielder Brian Stynes, although none are believed to be serious.

Kildare SF

With no major injuries reported yesterday, manager Mick O'Dwyer will name his team to face Louth after training tonight. There was some doubt over corner forward Tadgh Fennin, who broke his finger recently, but he should be in line for selection.

Donegal SF

With a long list of injuries facing manager Declan Bonner, it may be later in the week before the team to face Fermanagh is finalised. Almost certain to be ruled out of the running are Barry Ward and Shane Ward, both suffering from hand injuries, while defenders Damien Diver and Eamonn Reddin are also doubtful. Midfielder Brian McLaughlin is also troubled by a knee injury. Yesterday, only 20 players from the panel of 30 were deemed fit.

Fermanagh SF

Manager Pat King will announce his team tomorrow evening and he has a full panel of players available. Tom Brewster missed the first round win over Monaghan through injury but is expected to make his return.

Galway SF

John O'Mahony hopes to announce this evening the team to face New York in Saturday's Connacht championship opener. Galway managed to come through the weekend's drawn challenge match with Kerry without any injury worries, although midfielder Kevin Walsh looks doubtful as he has been slow in getting over a long-term injury. Ruled out last month was defender Tomas Mannion due to a back trouble.

Mayo SF

James Nallen is almost certain to be ruled out of the team to face Sligo in Markievicz Park on Sunday. He has been suffering from an ankle injury and it didn't show any improvement when he attempted to make a comeback in a recent challenge game with Donegal. There are also concerns over Kevin Cahill, although he is hoping to be available when the team is announced tonight. Definitely out through suspension is midfielder David Brady.

Sligo SF

The main absentee here is Tommy Brennan, the regular corner forward throughout the league, who has been out for the last month with a broken collarbone. Nigel Clancy, also recovering from a collarbone fracture, is likely to be available. Injuries to defender Mark Cosgrove (knee) and forward Ken Killeen (hamstring) are deemed less serious and they are expected to be a part of Mickey Moran's selection, which will be announced tonight.
