MOTOR SPORT:Ireland's Adam Carroll finished seventh in both the sprint and feature races of the A1 Grand Prix in Malaysia yesterday.
However, Switzerland opened up a 10-point lead at the top of the A1 Grand Prix World Cup of Motorsport standings after Neel Jani claimed victory in both races.
The Swiss driver dominated the sprint race from start to end, finishing 3.792 seconds ahead of France's Loic Duval. Jani then gave Switzerland their first win in a feature race, outpacing Brazilian rookie Sergio Jimenez to win by 8.414 seconds.
The next race on the A1GP circuit takes place at the Zhuhai International Circuit in China on December 16th.
