Swimming: Lars Frolander of Sweden broke his own world record of 50

Swimming: Lars Frolander of Sweden broke his own world record of 50.44 seconds in the final of the men's 100 metre butterfly at the world short-course swimming championships in Athens yesterday.

Frolander had set a new mark in the same event on Thursday in the semi-finals with a time of 50.59 seconds as well as participating on the record-setting Swedish 4x100 metres freestyle relay team for a third record.
