St Patrick's Athletic 4 Bray Wanderers 2:St Patrick's Athletic kept up their relentless pursuit of Premier Division leaders Drogheda United with a comfortable victory over an outclassed Bray Wanderers at Richmond Park last night.

Bray, now without a win in nine competitive games, had no answer to a goal-hungry St Pat's who never lost their grip on the proceedings once Gary O'Neill had opened the scoring with a penalty just before the interval.

It was only two late goals from winger Patrick Kavanagh and Paul Dunphy that gave the scoreline a respectable margin with St Patrick's dominant for long periods.

St Patrick's stretched their lead on 59 minutes when Keith Barker fired home from 14 yards. Billy Gibson added the third on 66 minutes and Michael Keane completed a good night for the Inchicore side with a 30-yard drive.
