Munster Colleges' SFC A semi-final - St Brendan's College 2-7 Coláiste Na Sceilge 0-12:THERE WILL be new Corn Uí Mhuirí champions crowned in Munster this season after Hogan Cup kingpins Coláiste na Sceilge were dumped out of the competition in yesterday's semi-final.

Managed by Kerry trainer Jack O’Connor, na Sceilge surrendered their crown, though they battled all the way, coming from six points down at half-time to draw level with less than 10 minutes to go in a nailbiting all-Kerry affair.

But St Brendan’s finished the strongest as sub Bryan O’Shea and centre forward Brendan Falvey swung over superb vital scores.

Na Sceilge pulled one point back through a Stephen O’Dwyer free but Éanna O’Connor’s late, late attempt at an equaliser tailed wide, heralding the end of the Caherciveen school’s reign.
