Soccer:Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Nani and Michael Carrick will be involved in tomorrow's Champions League second leg against Marseille.

Portugal international Nani has been unavailable since the 3-1 defeat at Liverpool on 6th March after suffering a badly cut leg from a controversial Jamie Carragher challenge.

As a result, the 24-year-old, who has enjoyed his best season since moving to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon in 2007, missed Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Arsenal.

But Nani handed a Ferguson a boost by training on Sunday and is now set to feature against Marseille in Manchester, while Michael Carrick is also back after a calf problem.

United's manager said of Nani in his pre-match press conference: "Good chance he'll be involved. He and Michael Carrick trained on Sunday. Both will be involved tomorrow."

The Champions League last-16 tie is agonisingly poised after a 0-0 first-leg draw in France and United will be glad to be able to call on Nani and Carrick.

Ferguson will also make a decision on Antonio Valencia after the former Wigan winger returned against Arsenal following six months on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

Ferguson added: "It's great to have him back. The question is, should I play him from the start? It's a fantastic bonus to have him back."

Michael Owen was also involved in Monday's training session, having been sidelined since the FA Cup victory at Southampton in late January, but Rio Ferdinand (calf) did not feature.

Owen Hargreaves trained away from the main group with some of the reserves, although he is not eligible to feature in the Champions League for United, while Park Ji-sung (hamstring) undertook some separate fitness work.
