William Gallas has reiterated his desire to leave Premiership champions Chelsea, according to reports in France.

The 28-year-old French international has one year remaining on his Stamford Bridge contract but has shown no interest in extending his stay at the London club.

He did not travel on the club's recent tour of the United States and was subsequently left out of the Community Shield defeat to Liverpool.

Speaking after scoring for his country in Wednesday night's 2-1 friendly win over Bosnia-Herzegovina, Gallas said: "I still want to leave Chelsea."

He added on L'Equipe.com: "I hope things will get sorted out fast but it does not prevent me from playing.

"Do I feel things are dragging on? Yes and no. My team-mates help me feel fine during training."

Earlier this week, Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck insisted Gallas was not for sale and that the club expected him to honour his contract.

Gallas joined Chelsea from Marseille in 2001.  Agencies
