The record-breaking Galway festival 2005 draws to a close tomorrow and Lily Shing Shang can wind things up successfully for punters with success in the big handicap hurdle.

The grey mare's trainer Pat Hughes is always a threat to the bookmakers at Ballybrit and Lily Shing Shang has already made her presence felt on the flat track here. It's a different story over the jumps but that could now change in the Tara Towers Handicap Hurdle.

Hughes gave Lily Shing Shang a run during the week on the flat and she performed creditably with a third to High Diving. That, on the back of three runs in maiden hurdles during May and June, present an attractive enough package to make her a decent bet against the Wednesday winner P'tit Fute who has been hiked 11lb in the ratings.

Tuesday's McDonogh runner- up Camargue gets the chance to win here again. Another to run in that McDonogh was Sheer Tenby who looked a possible winner a furlong out only to throw his chance away by drifting left. Seamus Heffernan takes the ride tomorrow and the seven furlong trip should hold no problems for this speedy veteran.

Heffernan could also emerge best from the conditions race as Portsmouth deserves another chance while the top apprentice Chris Hayes can win for the second time at the festival on Tom Cooper's Indian Four in the seven-furlong handicap.

Carlesimo impressively won on the level during the week and is now being tried over fences in the Beginners Chase. Noel Meade reports the versatile seven-year- old has schooled well so Carlesimo will be a warm order to score under Paul Carberry.

Dow Jones also ran well during the week but consolation in the second handicap hurdle could be foiled by the Killarney winner, Millanymare.

Tomorrow's other fixture is at Cork where Michael Kinane and Kieren Fallon will be in action. Both should be on the scoresheet too as Fallon's ride in the opening maiden, Beauty Bright, should be very hard to beat on the back of a debut third to Abigail Pett in a Stakes race at Leopardstown.

Kinane is on Tammany in the mile and a half fillies maiden and normal improvement from a debut runner-up placing behind Avalon at the Curragh should see this one home in front.
