It's become the norm for clubs to host lunches before AIB League matches at home in order to generate revenue. Next Sunday, however, it is Blackrock College, the school, who are hosting a lunch before the Leinster Schools' Senior Cup second round game against St Michael's College at Donnybrook.

The lunch takes place in Old Belvedere RFC and has been organised by the college to raise funds for the summer tour to Australia. Regaling the audience with a few bon mots will be a former Willow Park coach, current Sunday Independent columnist and RTE rugby pundit, George Hook. Rumour has it he will tip St Michael's to win the match.
