DEREK RYAN lost out to Australian world number two Rodney Eyles in the quarter finals of the Hong Kong Squash Open last night with the second seed clinching victory by 15-10 in the fourth game of a tightly contested match.
Eyles made a considerably better start to the clash, taking the opening two games to six and nine respectively, but the Dubliner gradually battled his way back and won the third game by four points.
