Injured British number one Greg Rusedski is to leave a final decision on whether he will play at Wimbledon until the last possible minute, his coach, Tony Pickard, confirmed yesterday.

Rusedski was initially given less than a 50-50 chance of recovering from the ankle ligament injury he suffered at the Stella Artois event at Queen's Club last Friday.

He has since been receiving intensive physiotherapy in London and underwent another scan on his injured ankle yesterday.

Pickard said daily bulletins on Rusedski's progress would not be issued and added: "We will not make a final decision until the weekend."
