Rugby:Ulster will take on French side Bayonne away and Harlequins at home as part of their pre-season schedule ahead of the new RaboDirect Pro12 season which gets underway at the start of September.

Brian McLaughlin’s side will play Bayonne on Wednesday, August 10th as part of their five day pre-season training camp in the south of France. The match will be played at Bayonne’s Parc des Sports Jean Dauger with an 8pm kick-off.

The province’s home pre-season friendly against Harlequins will be played at Ravenhill on Friday, August 26th (7.30pm kick off). Harlequins recently defeated Stade Francais in the final of the Amlin Challenge Cup finished in seventh place in the Aviva Premiership last season.

Tickets for the home pre-season friendly will go on sale from Monday, July 4th, and the game is included in the package for 2011/12 season ticket holders.

The Harlequins game will be the final competitive run-out before the new RaboDirect Pro12, formerly the Magners League, season which starts on the weekend of September 2nd-4th.
