Scotland v Italy(2.30pm): Scotland have been forced into a late change to their starting line-up for tomorrow's Six Nations wooden spoon decider with Italy after wing Max Evans was ruled out due to an ankle injury.

Evans, who scored Scotland’s only try in last Sunday’s 22-16 loss to England at Twickenham, was named in the Scotland team on Wednesday, but his place will now be taken by Nikki Walker.

Italy coach Nick Mallett has made six changes despite the stunning win over France in Rome last weekend. Mallett continues to assess his options for the World Cup in September and October with little room for sentiment for the underdogs who shocked champions France 22-21 in Rome.

Alberto Sgarbi comes in at centre for Gonzalo Garcia, Kristopher Burton returns at outhalf in place of Luciano Orquera while flanker Paul Derbyshire makes his first start of the tournament with Robert Barbieri dropping to the bench.

Quintin Geldenhuys is back in the secondrow with hooker Leonardo Ghiraldini and prop Salvatore Perugini, who will earn his 80th cap, also returning. Italy will avoid the wooden spoon if they beat or draw with Scotland who have yet to earn a point.

Ireland v England(5pm): After failing to impress in his four Six Nations starts at fullback, Luke Fitzgerald has been jettisoned from the Ireland match day 22 to take on England in the final Six Nations encounter at the Aviva Stadium next Saturday.

Ireland coach Declan Kidney named his starting line-up at the team hotel in Killiney today and it shows two changes in personnel and one positional switch from the side that lost to Wales at the Millennium Stadium last weekend.

Fitzgerald, who has held the fullback role in the absence Rob Kearney and Geordan Murphy, has dropped out of the squad with Keith Earls moving from the wing. Ulster's Andrew Trimble comes into the team on the left wing for his first start in this year's championship, while Jonathan Sexton is preferred over Ronan O'Gara in the starting role at outhalf.

Sexton endured a difficult afternoon in Saturday's 19-13 defeat by Wales after appearing as a 50th-minute substitute for Ronan O'Gara at the Millennium Stadium. Nevertheless, Kidney has decided to persevere with his rotational policy at 10 by picking the Leinster outhalf to face England. O'Gara, who started the last two outings against Scotland and Wales, drops to the bench.

Nick Easter will captain England after Mike Tindall was ruled out with an ankle ligament strain. Matt Banahan will make his second Test start at outside centre in place of Tindall, who was injured in England's 22-16 victory over Scotland last weekend.

Saracens wing David Strettle, whose last Test appearance for England came against New Zealand on the summer 2008 tour, will fill the vacant backs' position on the bench. Johnson has otherwise kept changes to a minimum as England seek a win which would clinch a first Grand Slam since 2003.

France v Wales(7.45pm): Damien Traille and David Marty were named in the centres in a reshuffled France team to face Wales in the final round.

Coach Marc Lievremont has made five changes to the side who lost to Italy last weekend for the first time ever in the championship with Traille and Marty coming in for Aurelien Rougerie and Yannick Jauzion.

Alexis Palisson wins a place on the left wing while Imanol Harinordoquy returns to the number eight position in place of Sebastien Chabal. Prop Thomas Domingo replaces Sylvain Marconnet.

Wales coach Warren Gatland has made two enforced changes. Teenage wing George North will make his Six Nations debut as replacement for knee injury victim Shane Williams, while Ospreys prop Adam Jones returns to the pack.

Jones, who has played just 20 minutes’ rugby since suffering an elbow injury in mid-January, takes over from his Ospreys colleague Craig Mitchell. Mitchell is unlikely to play again this season after dislocating his shoulder during Wales’ 19-13 victory over Ireland at the Millennium Stadium last weekend.
