Rugby - Leinster v Scarlets team news:With no new injury concerns to contend with, there were few eyebrows raised when Leinster coach Michael Cheika announced his initial selection for Saturday's return Heineken Cup fixture with Llanelli.

The side that performed so impressively at the Parc Y Scarlets comprises the core of an extended squad while the likes of Chris Keane, Simon Keogh, Ronan McCormack, Devin Toner and Rhys Ruddock are also drafted in at this stage.

Cheika will not name his starting line-up until Friday afternoon but, barring any mishaps in training this week, can only be expected to stick with the personnel that overcame the Scarlets 32-7 last time out.

That means Shaun Berne will once again deputise for the injured Jonathan Sexton at outhalf having orchestrated the backline so effectively in Wales.
