Team news:Leinster coach Michael Chieka will be without the services of Felipe Contepomi for at least six weeks after the influential Argentinian outhalf sustained medial ligament damage to his knee while on international duty.

The news comes as Cheika is due to name his squad tomorrow ahead of the province's Magners League encounter away to league leaders Ulster at Ravenhill this Saturday (7.30pm).

On a postive note Girvan Dempsey was passed fit after losing consciousness and bruising a cheekbone for Ireland against the Pacific Islanders at the weekend. The fullback is due to be named in the squad tomorrow with a final decision on his place in the starting line-up to be made later in the week.

Dempsey is Leinster's reserve kicker and with Contepomi ruled-out Cheika will hope the fullback is fit to start.

Christian Warner is expected to slot in at number 10 in the absence of Contepomi but he, like Belvedere's Andy Dunne or St Mary's Jonathan Sexton who have also impressed at outhalf at club level in recent weeks, are not established kickers at this level.

Despite Brian O'Driscoll's withdrawal from last Sunday's international as a precautionary measure the Ireland and Leinster captain is expected to lead the province on Saturday night.

Elsewhere Guy Easterby remains sidelined as he recovers from a fractured jaw.
