Squad / team news: All 22 of the squad that beat the Border Reivers at the weekend have been included in Leinster's selection to play the Cardiff Blues in the Magners League on Friday.

"It has been a big gap since we last played Cardiff  and it was quite a good game, played in front of a big crowd, so it should be something similar on Friday," said coach Michael Cheika.

"Cardiff are a good, strong team. They're very physical with a good front row and some strong lineout operators, particularly Robert Sidoli.

"I've a lot of time for Marc Stcherbina and we did a lot of work on Mike Phillips last year so I don't think I'll have to remind the guys about him too much this week!"

"Obviously the target is to win each game and our objective is to go over there and perform well.

"I've been pleased with the fact that we've been competitive in all our games, even the games we've lost we've usually managed to pick up a losing bonus point."

Shane Horgan's training has been hampered somewhat after sustaining a minor knock but Cheika is confident the Irish international will be available come the weekend.

"We need to be more clinical in our execution," the Australian coach added. "We're trying to keep on playing, getting wins and focusing on our own performance rather than on other results.

"If we get our performance right then we'll put ourselves in a position where we can win.

"I think we'll need to use the base of our performances against the Dragons and the Ospreys and look to improve this week.

"After 11 months, of course there's an element of tiredness, but it's the same for the opposition. Maybe we're showing signs of fatigue, but there'll be no lack of enthusiasm on Friday. I'm pleased that we're competitive to the last weekend."

The game at the Arms Park kicks off at 7.10pm.

Connacht coach Michael Bradley makes four changes as well as two positional switches to his side, for their final match of the season with Llanelli Scarlets on Friday at Stradey  Park (7.10pm).

John Hearty, Peter Durcan, Michael Swift and Ray Hogan all return to the starting line up in place of Darren Yapp, Paul Warwick, Ray Ofisa and Stephen Knoop.

Yapp is named among the replacements along with Connacht's two members of the Irish U20 Six Nations grand slam winning side, Aidan Wynne and Andrew Browne.

Daniel Riordan and Gavin Duffy exchange places with Duffy moving to outside centre and Riordan moving to full back.

David Gannon moves from the second row to blindside flanker for the first time as Michael Swift moves into the second row, with Ray Ofisa omitted due to a trial with the Samoan national team.

Mark McCall has named the Ulster squad to play Edinburgh on Friday (7.30).  Seven Irish players selected for the senior tour to Argentina and three for the Churchill Cup in the summer months are included.
