Andrea Masi and Mauro Bergamasco have recovered from injury and will start for Italy in Saturday's Six Nations encounter against Scotland at Murrayfield.

Both men were unavailable for the 20-7 defeat against England at Twickenham last time out.

However, Italy coach Pierre Berbizier will not be able to call on New Zealand-born flanker Josh Sole as he has an elbow injury.

His place has been taken by Alessandro Zanni.

Scotland will have Perpignan secondrow Nathan Hines back in their side for the clash.  The 30-year-old replaces Jim Hamilton in the only change made by head coach Frank Hadden to the starting line-up.

The Australia-born lock will win a 40th cap, while his partner at lock Scott Murray makes an 82nd appearance.

Scotland are currently in fourth place after beating Wales 21-9 in Murrayfield a fortnight ago.

Italy opened with an aimless performance against France, losing 39-3 in Rome's Stadio Flaminio, but they proved their mettle by bouncing back against England in Twickenham, despite losing 20-7 to Brian Ashton's side.
