A BRIGHT future looms for mid fielder Andy Van der Meyde following his dazzling display for Ajax Youths a Tolka Park last night.
The right sided midfielder was the outstanding talent on an evening when Home Farm acquitted themselves extremely well against the Duth masters.
Indeed the hosts seemed to be heading for a credible two all draw when substitute Erik Basowah struck with four minutes to go.
Ajax had made the early running and went deservedly in front on 40 minutes when Cedric Van der Gun fired into an open net following a pull back from Weuter Kos.
Farm were back on level terms just after the hour mark following a header from Richard Dunne, before Van der Gun regained the lead for Ajax 10 minutes later.
But Ajax again took their foot off the pedal, and moments later Robbie Farrell equalised with a spectacular overhead kick after Graham Lawlor had flicked on a header from a throw in.
